When we explore the natural world, science is all around us. Young children have wonderful imagination and are naturally curious about their surroundings.
Our series ‘Science World’ introduces students to the world around them in a simple and meaningful way and strives to answer students’ inquisitive thoughts about ‘Hows’ and ‘Whys’ of everyday life. The book connects learning to what is local to the learner besides developing future scientific understanding among the students.

Each lesson is purposeful and comprises of special features like:

This segment strives to broaden the horizon of the child by providing interesting information as an inspiration for comprehensive learning, related to the concepts being taught.
◆ Can You Tell?
This feature comes with thought provoking questions that motivate the student to apply the learnt concepts to everyday life situations.
◆ Things to Do
This segment emphasizes on exploration that includes entertaining activities and simple experiments for the students to perform.
◆ Teacher’s Guide
This section provides guidelines to the teacher to impart a lifelong learning to the students. Since outside the classroom door, the natural world opens up child’s innate sense of wonder, the teachers are guided how to engage the young ones to learn more about their surroundings by doing explorations with activities and recording their observations.
Exercises are designed to make learning a fun for the child besides evaluating their competency to understand the learnt concepts.
